Adelei, Bergitta & Cerena Grow, & Aaron grows up

When we last left, Lilabeth had brought home a basket of baby girls - triplets, bringing her three children closer to her lifelong wish of raising five children from babyhood through teenagers.

As babies, the girls pretty much looked like this:
(I believe this was Cerena - it took until they were toddlers to really tell them apart).

Anyway, after several eventful days of having three babies and a toddler, the triplets grew up. The only way the family survived was to have a babysitter there almost 24 hours a day. One would leave, and they would call another one just a few hours later. It meant that there would be more hands available to help them, and allowing one parent to rest occasionally. Still, it was a hard time for the family, although they were rewarded with three beautiful toddlers.

Aaron especially enjoyed having his sisters close in age. He and Adelei particularly enjoyed playing together.

Aaron, however, as the oldest, also shared a special relationship with Stiles, their father.

As toddlers, both Cerena and Bergitta had makeovers.
Bergitta

Cerena (and Adelai looks very similar!)

Soon after the girls became toddlers, Aaron began another age transition. Being just a few days ahead of his sisters was always a little disconcerting for him. Not only that, but Stiles, at almost two weeks older than Lilabeth, had also aged into an Elder, although he was still enjoying his professional life. One day, after coming home from conducting a concert, Stiles played a very special role for Aaron - conducting his growth!

Aaron - Loves the Outdoors, Artistic and a Genius!

Aaron and...

So, after a few days, Aaron grew up into a very cute toddler. He has blond hair and green eyes, like his mom. His two traits so far are Good & Loves the Outdoors. I got to choose, which was nice. It's also easy, when there aren't any other kids around...

Anyway, a little while after our little bundle of joy grew up, something else interesting happened...Lilabeth went into labor again! I had seen great pictures of women in labor on the boards, so I got one of my own. Isn't she pretty?

However, Lilabeth came out of the hospital with a basket! You know what that means - triplets! All three were girls as well! Adelai, Bergitta and Cerena, and unfortunately, right now I don't remember their traits. But, one of them is Evil (and of course, the most interesting!)

Starting a Family

Although Lilabeth wanted lots of children, she had focused on her career for a while until she found Stiles. Now though, she was wasting no time to start a family.
Which, of course, meant praying to porcelain goddess. While on maternity leave, and with no other babies around, Lilabeth took some time to work on her love of painting and all things artistic. Although her heart was in the right place, she hoped that her ability to paint wouldSoon though, it was time for a different kind of labor...
And the first Sims 3 baby was born: Aaron!

My First Sim in the Sims 3

Lilabeth Brownstone began life as a random CAS sim, and then, after a little customization, became the star of her very own story. She is handy, artistic and neat, with a green thumb and family-oriented. Her favorite music is Classical, she loves Key Lime Pie, and she enjoys the color Lime. She wants nothing more in life than to be surrounded by family, so she has decided to raise 5 children.

Since she had just moved into Sunset Valley, she chose a small house with potential to grow, and a good layout for one person. She began trying to find the love of her life, and almost immediately met Stiles McGraw, an eligible bachelor who worked in the music field. However, with her new job in Law Enforcement, she was working almost exactly the opposite hours as Stiles, and so it was very difficult to get together with Stiles. By the time Stiles came over again, he had begun dating a woman named Sunny, whom Lilabeth didn't know, but immediately disliked.

Lilabeth was, however, still very interested in Stiles, and after his first visit to her house, she was very interested in him. The two of them kept seeing each other, although whenever she mentioned Sunny, he tried to change the subject and refused to talk about it. Lilabeth began to lose interest, since although she was very physically and emotionally attracted to Stiles, she couldn't build a family with him if he was still with Sunny. However, right around the time Lilabeth started to think about it, Stiles came to tell her that he had broken up with Sunny. Lilabeth was thrilled, and they began going steady. It didn't take them long to decide that they had been unofficially together for a long time.

The Sims 3 Invades!!

Well, as many people out in the blogosphere know, The Sims 3 came out a week ago. With 1.4 million copies sold in the first week, it is turning out to be as much of a success as Sims 1 and Sims 2. I think a big chunk of that has to do with the positive media attention (it has gotten great reviews) as well as advertising, like the television commercials.

Anyway, I was among those 1.4 million, and I have decided to use this blog to display my work. I'm not really going to do a legacy story as such - I haven't really taken enough pictures for that, but I thought it would be fun to have a place to display my pictures and the stories of my first sims in the Sims 3!

Coming soon: Sunset Valley!

First Steps

Zoe's humble abode came equipped with everything a single sim needed, especially the telephone and kitchen. It wasn't much more impressive on the inside, unfortunately.

One of the first people Zoe met was Bettyrose Washburne, taking time off from being a world class chef to check up on the newest member of the neighborhood. Another two townies came along with Bettyrose.
However, something else was on her mind. Zoe had also met someone named Hobart, who seemed awefully interesting and liked coming over the the house. (Excuse the walls down, but you can see the bathroom and some of the living room)

A better view of the house. Single bed (better to prevent hanky panky), sofa and TV for entertainment, bookcase for skilling, bathroom for taking care of hygiene. And a table and chair for guests to pass out in...

Meet Zoe Tam!

This is Zoe Tam - founder of the legacy. She is a Family Sim, with a LTW of six children, which, of course, means that the first order of business will be finding a spouse!

I am not playing for points, but I am sort of using a variety of handicaps that I like. In this legacy, only the females may inherit, but I get to choose who exactly that is of the females available (if there are more than one). I am planning on playing each of the spares for a while as well, although I haven't decided on how long exactly.

Anyway, there is a naming scheme here. For the main line, each character is named after a person/place/thing/whatever from the Serenity series. For the spare line, the children are named in a way that takes after the spouses name. I.E. Sarah gives birth to Isaac and Rebecca (all Biblical). Also, the heir has to get a gold gardening badge. Yay cheap, good food. There is probably more that I am forgetting, but I figure I better do this now, before more time passes!

More to come..
The Brownstone's have begun a family in Sunset Valley, and Lilabeth dreams of her family reaching ten generations. Join us through the generations in a Sims 3 legacy!
